A Power Red donation is a specialized blood donation method that allows donors to give a concentrated dose of red blood cells, which are the most frequently used and needed blood component for transfusions. During this process, a special machine is used to safely collect two units of red blood cells while returning the donor’s plasma, platelets, and some saline back to their body.
