We Give Blood: Year 3
SunCoast Blood Centers is proud to participate in We Give Blood: Year 3, a Big Ten blood donation competition that brings students, alumni, and fans together to give blood and support their favorite Big Ten school.
The competition begins August 26, 2026 and runs through December 4, 2026.
The Big Ten school with the most eligible donations will receive a $1 million grant from Abbott to support student or community health.
How to Participate
1. Give Blood
Donate at a SunCoast Blood Centers donor center or mobile blood drive during the campaign.
2. Submit Your Participation
This step is required for your participation to count and to receive a T-shirt redemption code.
After donating or attempting to donate:
Visit BigTen.org/Abbott
or
Text GIVEBLOOD to 222688 (ABBOTT)
You will be asked to submit proof that you donated or presented to donate.
Proof may include a photo of a moment or document that demonstrates your donation or attempt to donate. Big Ten reserves the right to disqualify submissions that do not meet the campaign requirements.
Please do not submit anything that contains personal health data or information.
3. Support Your School
Select the Big Ten school you want your participation to support.
T-Shirt Redemption
After submitting your participation, eligible participants can receive a T-shirt redemption code to redeem their Big Ten school T-shirt, subject to campaign terms and availability.
