Suncoast Blood Centers is the only local blood center that has been in the community for over 75 years. Providing blood services to many local hospitals and cancer centers in SWFL.

This position is made up of the following job duties
• Reopen and develop new accounts that have been left dormant with SCBC greater than two (2) years with no donor group.
• Work with businesses, schools, communities, government, and religious organizations to host productive blood drives.
• Maintains relationships with and provides support to various blood drive sponsors for optimum blood donations.
• Builds strong relationships and works alongside the blood drive sponsors
• Utilizes feedback from the Recruitment management team to improve future drives.
• Utilizes effective strategies to recruit new donors to blood drives.
• Follows up with donor group sponsors after each blood drive to discuss results
• Maintain and update database of blood donor groups utilizing blood bank CRM software to meet collection goals and enhance blood drive efficiencies
• Assists with presentations to various drive sponsors regarding the importance of blood donations.
• Attends various networking events such as Chamber and corporate events.
• Provides suggestions and/or blood drive events to attract more blood donors to the organization.
• Utilizes effective strategies to recruit new donors to blood drives.
• Successful completion of six (6) months meeting 100% of minimum goals discussed after 30 days of hire, promotion to Donor Group Representative (DGR)
• Other duties as required to fulfil the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
Experience: 2-year sales and/or customer relationship management
Education: High School or equivalent experience; prefer Associates degree
Licensure/Certification: None
Light Work – Much of work done while sitting, but with more than normal standing or walking. Occasionally exerting between 20-60 lbs. of force to lift or move objects.
