Lakewood Ranch, FL – November 26, 2024 – In a groundbreaking initiative to meet the critical need for blood donations while raising community awareness, SunCoast Blood Centers is excited to announce its partnership with Curaleaf for the first-ever “Bleed for Weed” blood drive. This special event will take place on December 4, 2024, at two Curaleaf locations in Sarasota.

The “Bleed for Weed” blood drive aims to encourage both new and returning donors to contribute to the vital blood supply. First-time blood donors will receive a $30 rewards card, while existing donors can earn rewards ranging from $20 to $70. Additionally, donors who present a valid medical marijuana card will receive a free pre-roll, exclusive discount cards for Curaleaf products, and Curaleaf merchandise items.
